What's to get excited about!

Lying 90 kilometres to the south of Sicily and 300 kilometres north of Africa, Malta sits centrally in the Mediterranean sea. Being a naval strategic point, Malta and its smaller islands Gozo and Comino, have a rich and diverse history and we’ll spend our week experiencing all these wonderful islands have to offer.

Malta is a firm favourite of Go Beyond’s and we have again put together a travel experience that we think you will love. Our base will be the exotic QAWRA Palace Resort & Spa Hotel. Equipped with three swimming pools, a spa, a wellness centre and a large buffet-style restaurant, we think we have chosen the perfect accommodation to relax in. Added to this is there’s entertainment every evening in the hotel with live performances, discos and everyone’s favourite – karaoke!

Naturally, we’ll be filling our days with planned activities that will get us out and about around the Maltese archipelago. We will take a boat trip around the Three Cities that are situated in the main harbour near Valletta. We’ll jump on a ferry to Gozo relaxing on Ramla Beach, spend time visiting the town of Victoria and it’s Cittadella. We will take you on a Maltese food tour in the capital, Valletta, all those local tastes and smells will definitely excite your taste buds! Plus, we will look forward to our day out to the Popeye theme park, as well as to our kayaking tour along a section of the beautiful coastline. There’s a visit to the local aquarium and the fascinating classic car museum that exhibits over 100 classic cars. There’s so much to see and do, but as always, there will be a rest day, where you will have use of all three swimming pools!

Where you'll be staying...

Overlooking St Pauls Bay, QAWRA Palace Resort & SPA has its own indoor and outdoor swimming pools. It also features a mini golf course and a games room with pool table. We are pleased to be returning to this fabulous hotel.

Food, glorious food!

We will be fully catered for by the hotel. There are four restaurants to choose from at the Qawra Palace Hotel. Each restaurant is themed with either Mediterranean, Asian, South American and Caribbean, plenty of choice.

Breakfast at the Qawra Palace is buffet style and includes both sweet and savoury items such as eggs, sausages and cereal.

What you'll experience...

We will meet at a London airport and you will be supported on the flight to Malta Airport. Our mini-buses will take you on the 30-minute drive to the hotel.

Ininerary

Day 1 – Travel from London to Malta, travel to our accommodation via mini bus, settle in.

Day 2 – Food Tour of Valletta.

Day 3 –Day at the hotel using the three pools and other facilities.

Day 4 – Visit the theme park of Popeye.

Day 5 – Rest Day.

Day 6 – Visit Mdina with a guided tour.

Day 7 – Explore Gozo guided tour of Victoria.

Day 8 – Drive back to Malta Airport for flight back to London.
