What's to get excited about!

We’re kicking off our 2027 schedule of group holidays with a trip to beautiful Seville in south-west Spain. Located in the Iberian Peninsula it is famous for its year-round sunny climate, stunning architecture, vibrant street life, oranges and flamenco dancing …… and we’ll be experiencing all of these on this 7-day winter holiday!

Once landed at Seville Airport, we’ll make our way to our accommodation for the week, the Hotel Bellavista. This large hotel is just outside the central city and is the ideal base for us to start our week of discovery which will begin with a full day visiting two UNESCO world heritage landmarks that lie side by side. Firstly, The Royal Alcázar, is Europe’s oldest active Royal Palace, originally bult as a Moorish fort in the 10th century, it still stands proudly and remains one of the official residences of The Spanish Royal Family. Then it’s onto the cathedral of Seville with its famous tower - La Giralda, which is the largest Gothic cathedral in the entire world!

Our itinerary in the capital of Andalusia, also sees us visiting another incredible piece of architecture, but this time much more modern in the form of Setas de Sevilla. Translated, this means Mushrooms of Seville, and when you see it, you’ll understand why it has this obscure name! Opened in 2011, it is the world’s largest timber structure and hosts several floors boasting a plaza, a museum, a market, plus panaromic walkways. It is absoloutley spectacular and we can’t wait to share it with you!

Aswell as this, we shall also spend time exploring the city with help of a guided walking tour through its central area, along with visits to its famous museum of popular arts, Seville’s must see central park (Park de Parque de Maria Luisia), and yes, we’ll even be taking in a bit of flamenco dancing – like we were going to miss out on the chance to do that!

Where you'll be staying...

The 4* Hotel Bellavista is situated in the Palmera area of the city, and just a 30 minute drive from the airport. There’s free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel and a games room too, plus a large buffet style restaurant.

Food, glorious food!

Breakfasts are included at both our We’ve visited many parts of Spain before and the one thing that has never let us down is the food. Paella, tapas, tortilla, amazing fruit (especially oranges!), croquetas ….. yes please!! Our breakfasts will be taken at our hotel each day in their large buffet-style restaurant. Daily packed lunches will be arranged for when we are out and about and our evening meals will be restaurant dining, with the exact locations to be decided on a day-to-day basis.hotels in Rome and Milan. In Rome we shall also be using the hotel for our evening meals. All lunches plus our evening meals in Milan will be taken outside of our accommodation, allowing us to choose from the multiple options available so that we can savour even more of the culinary delights that Italy is so famous for.

Travel

We will meet at a London airport and you will be supported on our return flights to and from Seville in south-west Spain. We shall be hiring a minibus on our arrival and this shall provide our mode of transportation for most, if not all, of our daily activities.

Itineray

Day 1 – Flight to Seville, minibus to hotel and settle in

Day 2 – Guided tour of Royal Alcázar and Seville Cathedral

Day 3 – Flamenco dancing

Day 4 – Seville guided walking tour

Day 5 – Setas de Sevilla

Day 6 – Museum of Popular Arts and Park de Parque de Maria Luisia

Day 7 – Rest Day – A day with no fixed schedule, allowing us to rest a little and decide between us how we’d like to spend the day.

Day 8 – Travel back to the UK.

Your holiday will include the following:

• 7-night accommodation and all meals provided
