What's to get excited about!

After the previous two years setting up base in northern France for our summer programme of holidays, and prior to that two years in northern Spain, we’re mixing it up again and we’re delighted to introduce you to another brand new destination for 2027 …… The Netherlands!!

Dutch Limburg (as opposed to neighbouring Belgian Limburg), is the southernmost of the twelve Dutch provinces, close to the German border and approximately 45 miles from Eindhoven. Limburg is undeniably beautiful with large rolling hills, grand castles, caves and vibrant markets and we intend to experience as much of it as we can!

Our week will start with a flight from London to Dusseldorf and then it’s a short minibus ride to our accommodation. We’ve secured the largest wing at the quite wonderful Compass Complex where we shall stay for the duration of our holiday.

As for what we’ll be getting up to, well, seeing as this is the ‘adventure’ holiday and in keeping with similar trips we’ve previously offered in Dartmoor, Brittany and Corrubedo, we’ll be enjoying many of the same activities that have always proved so popular with our guests. Therefore, we’ll be visiting the indoor Ivy Climbing Centre in Sittard where both beginners and more experienced climbers can enjoy their great facilities. We love to get out on the water, so we’ll be taking advantage of the near by kayaking centre, plus there’s a horse riding centre and a Go Ape close by too. Added to this, we will be exploring our new surroundings by embarking on some leisurely hikes around the forestlands of Leudal and the villages of Roggel.

This will be the first of two back-to-back weeks in Limburg with our chosen premises allows for larger groups than we are normally able to offer. We’re absolutely thrilled to have found this brilliant new location and can’t wait to get out and explore Limburg with you in fabulous south-west Netherlands!

It’s going to be an epic Dutch adventure – who’s coming along?!

Where you'll be staying...

We’ll be staying at the wonderful Compass Complex where we will be taking over their largest wing for the full seven days. Complete with multiple bedrooms (each with their own private bathroom), large kitchen/dining area as well as its impressive grounds for us to relax in, it makes for an ideal location for our Limburg adventure.

Food, glorious food!

Our private accommodation for the week comes with a fully functional large kitchen and dining area, so we’ll be taking our very own Go Beyond chef with us on this one. Hearty breakfasts in the morning will fuel us up for the day ahead, and packed lunches organised for when we’re out and about. Hot evening meals shall await us on our return complete with delicious deserts.

Travel

We will meet at a London airport and you will be supported on our return flights to Dusseldorf. Minibuses shall provide our mode of transportation for most, if not all, of our daily activities as well as for pick up and airport drop offs.

Itineray

Day 1 – Flight to Dusseldorf, minibus to accommodation and settle in

Day 2 – Climbing at Ivy Climbing

Day 3 – Kayaking, a trip along a narrow river called Groote Molenbeek

Day 4 – Horse riding, at Wills Ranch

Day 5 – Rest Day – A day with no fixed schedule, allowing us to rest a little and decide between us how we’d like to spend the day.

Day 6 – Go Ape at Klimbos Weert

Day 7 – Hiking along routes from Roggel and Leudal

Day 8 – Travel back to the UK

Your holiday will include the following:

• 7 night accommodation and all meals provided
• All entrance fees to all activities and sites.
• Airport transfers and transport in and around Dutch Limburg.
• Return flights from London to Dusseldorf accompanied and supported by our Go Beyond team.
• A ratio of 2 guests to 1 Go Beyond support staff member.
• Support from our Go Beyond team during the holiday.
