What's to get excited about!

After the phenomenal interest for our first ABBA themed voyage to Greece in 2025, what else could we do but bring it back for 2026!

The 2008 hit musical film, set on a Greek island to the music of Abba, was a box office smash and after listening to our guests, we included a trip to the islands where much of the film was set. We’ve never had so much interest in one holiday before, selling out quicker than any trip previously. We called it “Mama Mia - Here We Go Beyond Again’ so this year we thought, why not Go Beyond Again …….. AGAIN!

This ‘Super Trouper’ holiday will be split into three parts. To start, we’ll be up in the Greek mountains in Chania Pelion, where our hotel is based, The Manthos Mountain Resort and Spa. This luxurious hotel will give us the space we need to practise our ABBA moves because, with help from a professional dance teacher, we will actually be singing and recreating scenes from the famous film! In between rehearsals, we’ll be making the most of the great facilities on offer and just be relaxing around the hotel spa and pools in the Greek sunshine. Bliss!

We will spend time dancing out more Mamma Mia favourites with a visit to Damouchari Beach. Here, is where one of the film’s most iconic scenes was set to the song ‘Dancing Queen’, where Donna (played by Meryl Streep), and her friends end their dance through the village streets by jumping into the water from a wooden jetty. Amazing!

The latter part of the holiday will take us by ferry to Skopelos, the island where many of the well-known scenes from the film took place. There, we will be taken on a Mamma Mia guided tour of the island and visiting locations so adored by ABBA fans. Then, we’ve an overnight stay at the Dolphin Hotel on the island and wake up to the glittering spectacle of the Aegean Sea. Wow! Next it is back on the ferry to nearby neigbouring island, Skiathos. Where will settle for the last night of our holiday in the Hotel Mato. Here we will have chance to see one more famous scene from the Mamma Mia film and take a look around the shops in the port for any souveniers.

So, why not join us on this ABBA extravaganza that we’re sure will bring out the ‘Dancing Queen’ in all of us!

Where you'll be staying...

At the top of a mountain, surrounded by green fir trees, overlooking the Pagasetic Gulf, lies the luxurious Manthos Resort and Spa.

We will be looked after here by the warm and friendly staff for our whole time accept the last two nights, where we will be staying at the Dolphin Hotel on the island of Skopelos and Hotel Mato on Skiathos.

Food, glorious food!

We will be looked after by the restaurant at the Manthos Hotel. The hotel has a fantastic menu with traditional Greek food, but please, don’t break any plates! On Skopelos and Skiathos we will be eating at nearby restaurants and breakfast will be in the hotels.

What you'll experience...

We will meet at a London airport and you will be supported on the flight to Thessaloniki Airport Makedonia in Greece.

Our mini-buses will take you on the 3 hour drive to the accommodation, with stops along the way.

Ininerary

5th May – Flight to Thessaloniki from Stansted & transport from airport to Manthos Mountain hotel

6th May – Dance sessions in the morning and afternoon in the Basket Ball Hall

7th May- Spa Morning, Dance session in the afternoon with a performance in the evening.

8th May – Travel to Damouchari Beach (this beach used in Mamma Mia film) for picnic, swim and Abba disco on beach.

9th May - Dance sessions in the morning and afternoon in the Basket Ball Hall with a performance in the evening.

10th May – Ferry from Volos to Skopelos Island (Mamma Mia Island), Abba tour in the afternoon taking us to all the famous scenes from the film. Stay in Dolphin hotel

11th May – Ferry to Skiathos, stay at hotel Mato, visit the Old Port, which is a scene from the Mamma mia film

12th May –Flight back from Skiathos to Gatwick
