What's to get excited about!

For the past two years, Go Beyond have offered an ABBA themed holiday to Greece, visiting 3 islands including Skopelos which will always be synonymous with the film Mamma Mia. We loved every second visiting many of the locations where the hit film was made and this year we’ve decided to carry on the ABBA theme……. but we’re taking it to the next level!

This 5-day break, starts with one night in London before flying off to Stockholm in Sweden, the spiritual home of Agnetha, Benny, Björn and Anni-Frid. So, why one night in London? Well, we’ll be kicking off this extravaganza by seeing the highly acclaimed ABBA Voyage show at the ABBA Arena, Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. And not only that, as following the show we’ll be dining at the Mamma Mia Party Restaurant! This fabulous eatery is the ideal way to keep the party going as scenes from the film are acted out LIVE all around us where everyone singing and dancing is not just allowed but highly encouraged!

Following a good night’s sleep in a London hotel, we’ll then head to the airport to catch our direct flight to Stockholm. Sweden’s capital is home to ABBA – The Museum , which has the brilliant tag line of ‘Walk In, Dance Out!’ Here, we’ll get to look back on the group’s phenomenal career, view the memorabilia, see the outfits, and even sing on stage with them (well, kind of!). It really is a spectacular museum and a must see for all ABBA fanatics.

Finally, we’ll spend our last full day exploring Stockholm with a boat trip along Lake Mälaren, with a guided tour showing us a little of what this beautiful city has to offer. It really is a superb place to visit and a wonderful way to end our trip. Then before we know it, it will be time to head back to London with the only question being, which was better; the ABBA Voyage show and restaurant party in London or the ABBA museum and sightseeing tour of Stockholm?

Where you'll be staying...

In London, after the ABBA party, we shall make our way to The Premier Inn at Gatwick Airport. This is a hotel we have used on many occasions and where we are always very well looked after by the staff and is conveniently situated so we have plenty of time to catch our flight to Stockholm the following morning without rushing.

In Sweden we shall be staying in The Scandic No. 53 Hotel which is right in the heart of Stockholm. All rooms have Wi-Fi and private bathrooms.

Food, glorious food!

Dinner in London will be at the fabulous Mamma Mia Party Restaurant with a buffet style breakfast in the Premier Inn being served the following morning in our hotel.

In Stockholm, our breakfast and dinner will be catered for by the Scandic 53 hotel. Our lunches we will source from Stockholm old town.

Travel

Travel from the ABBA party to our hotel at Gatwick airport shall be taken by train. Once landed in Stockholm, we shall be using their excellent public transport system (buses and trains), to take us around the city and back to the airport for our return flight.

Itineray

Day 1 – ABBA Voyage Show and Mamma Mia Party Restaurant. Night at Premier Inn, Gatwick.

Day 2 – Fly out to Stockholm and settle into our hotel.

Day 3 – ABBA – The Museum.

Day 4 – Boat trip around Stockholm and guided tour.

Day 5 – Travel back to the UK.
