We invite you to our first summer in the north-west of France, and the Celtic region of Brittany. We will be based in the beautiful, small central village of Mellionnec, where we’ll be staying in a large gite named A La Belle Etoile (The Beautiful Star). The gite was renovated in 2022 and was formerly an old presbytery but is now a beautiful and modern auberge, situated in this small, alternative and progressive community.
Given the beautiful surroundings we’ll find ourselves in, we’ll be out and about aplenty, with this holiday jam-packed with activities!
We’ve designed an itinerary which allows us to witness the lovely, green summer landscape of Brittany in a variety of ways. We will be pony trekking through the pastoral countryside, kayaking on the nearby Lake Guerlédan, and mountain biking on a simple path around the same stretch of water alongside the lake.
And seeing as this is an adventure holiday, how about a spot of climbing and archery as well as visiting the nearby ‘Go Ape’ outdoor activity centre?

A La Belle Etoile is a brand new gite. It has been designed to accommodate all types of people, including summer groups like ours.
All of our food will be lovingly prepared and cooked by our wonderful chef, Helen.
We will meet at a London airport and you will be supported on the flight to Nantes Atlantique Airport in France.
Our mini-buses will take you on the 2 hour and 30-minute drive to the accommodation, with stops along the way.
Your holiday will include the following:
- 7 night, full board accommodation.
- All entrance fees to all activities and sites
- Airport transfers and transport in and around France.
- Return flight from London to Nantes, accompanied and supported by our Go Beyond team.
- A ratio of 2 guests to 1 Go Beyond support staff member.
- Support from our Go Beyond team during the holiday.
