Are you someone who loves to act? Perhaps you enjoy writing stories? Have you always wanted to make a documentary?
This holiday will give you the opportunity to make a short film which we plan to get shown on the big screen. The setting is Royal Deeside, in Aberdeenshire, Scotland. Ballater, in the heart of The Cairngoms National Park, in the eastern Highlands of Scotland, is where we will be based. Surrounded by the mountains, rivers, lochs, gothic buildings and castles, in colourful autumn, the perfect backdrop for any film.
We are also minutes from Balmoral Castle, an official royal residence.
We are asking you to come up with an idea for a film, which, as a group, we will write, plan and film, with the help from a professional.
Will we film a short documentary? A subject of your choosing, like the Royal family or local history? Or will we film a story? A romance action film or a science fiction comedy?
The choice is yours.
We will be staying in the cosy 5 star hostel in Ballater, near Braemar.
The hostel has 7 ensuite bedrooms, with a comfortable dining and lounge area.
We will be perfectly placed to see the wilds of the Scottish highlands.
We will be fully catered for by our very own Go Beyond Chef.
We will meet at a London Airport and you will be supported on the flight to Aberdeen Airport in Scotland.
Our mini-buses will take you on the 1 hour drive from the airport to Ballater Hostel.
We will enjoy tasty breakfasts, healthy picnics for lunch and hearty dinners in the evenings, a balanced menu catering to your dietary requirements.
Your holiday will include the following:
- 7 night accommodation with breakfast.
