This holiday will take you to Iceland, the island in the middle of the Atlantic, famous for it’s sublime landscapes, waterfalls and other worldliness.
This 10 night holiday will really give you the chance to experience this mythical island with the magical backdrop of the midnight sun.
We start our holiday staying in the typically Icelandic hotel called Englendingavik in Borgarnes, not far from Iceland’s capital Reykjavik. Here we will stay for 5 nights and take in the famous Golden Circle, (Thingvellir National park, Geysir hot springs, Gullfoss waterfalls) visit the capital and it’s iconic church, Hallsgrimskirkja and the whale museum as well as taking a pony ride around the lava fields. We will also travel to the Snaelfell peninsular, taking in the Snaefell Volcano, Ytri Tunga beach where seals live all year round and Kirkjufell waterfall.
It is then off to the north of Iceland to Akureyri, where we will explore the longest fjord in Iceland, Eyjafijordur, by land and sea as we head out on a whale watching safari, hoping to see the humpback whale in its peak summer feeding grounds.
We will spend time visiting Godafoss waterfall and relax in the warm, milky blue waters of Lake Myvatn.

We will be fully catered for by our very own Go Beyond Chef.
We will meet at a London airport and you will be supported on the flight to Keflavik Airport, near Reykjavik, Iceland’s capital.
Our mini-buses will take you on the 1 ½ hour drive to our Nordic home in Borganrnes. We will spend 4 full days in the west of Iceland before departing for Iceland’s North.
The 4 hour drive will take us through Iceland’s magical and other worldly landscape before we arrive at Gistihiemili House near Akureyri.
Here we will spend a further 4 full days exploring the northlands. A total of 10 nights, experiencing the midnight sun and immersed in the wonder of Iceland.
Your holiday will include the following:
- 7 night, half board accommodation.
- All entrance fees to all activities and sites.
- Airport transfers and transport in and around the Iceland.
- Return flight from London to Keflavik, accompanied and supported by our Go Beyond team.
- A ratio of 2 guests to 1 Go Beyond support staff member.
- Support from our Go Beyond team during the holiday.
